From the date you reach state pension age you are entitled to claim the state pension, even when you are still in employment.
Although, for women, you can claim your pension a bit later than you may have initially planned. By November 2018 the qualifying age for women will be 65 year of age. Furthermore, by 2028, women will not have to think about claiming their state pension until the age of 67.
