5 essential workshops to visit at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Anticipation and excitement is building as 7th August fast approaches and marks the start of this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. 

Many of our clients will be performing and attending this year's festival but may find themselves stumped selecting which out of the hundreds of creative workshops on offer they should attend. 1: How to sell your show

Interested in performing at a future Edinburgh Festival? Learn how to market your show and increase audience members by picking the brains of the Fringe Society’s Media office.

2: Workshop with Voice Coach Yvonne Morley

Our friends at Spotlight have organised a workshop with Yvonne Morley who has over 30 years in the industry, and is an associate with the Royal National Theatre’s voice department.

4: Meet the agent: Paul Harper at Keddie Scott Associates

Paul works as a casting agent at Keddie Scott Associates Ltd and will be answering questions covering all aspects of the acting industry.

5: Self Marketing for Actors: Spotlight’s Emma Dyson

Emma will be giving advice on the best ways of marketing yourself in the industry covering everything from CV’s, show reels to approaching casting directors and agencies.
