Electronic Invoicing

On 4th April HMRC released a revised notice about issuing, receiving and storing VAT invoices in an electronic format.

Electronic invoicing offers many advantages over the more traditional paper invoices. Electronic transmission of documents in a secure environment it makes it easier to trace orders. In addition, electronic invoicing is more cost effective, as it eliminates the need for paper, thereby reducing the need for storage and handling costs.
